Each distinctively decorated bungalow boasts exotic, hand carved woods, elegant textures and natural, luxurious bedding. These individualized interiors become cozy, private retreats in which to enhance your comfort while enjoying your time in Santa Teresa/Mal Pais.

Every Bungalow features a balcony that offers tree top views, ocean
breezes and the sounds of the jungle. We chose stylish and comfortable
furnishings to make hanging out on the veranda an ultra relaxing experience.
All bungalows have a private bathrooms featuring hand carved stone sinks from quarries in the hills of Monte Verde, in addition to gorgeous all tile, spacious hot water showers. Our bungalows were built with ventilation in mind. Each is equipped with a ceiling fan and A/C for ultimate comfort. All the beds have pillow top mattresses with top of the line linens. You have peace of mind knowing your personal belongings are completely protected with state-of-the-art room safes that are large enough to fit
cameras, laptops and other personal items.
Each of our bungalows is specifically designed by Gloria Armond to give their own individual characteristics and you are welcome to request a particular room.
Bungalow Armonia:
An ethnic flair with an eclectic mix of hand carved Indonesian hardwoods and antique Indian pieces. A king size mattress and a single mattress that sits
upon an antique Indian daybed as well as an additional single bed provide ample sleeping arrangements for a family or group of close friends.
Bungalow Pacifico:
A cool relaxing Balinese design keeping with the tropics…two queen beds with gorgeous sea grass headboards sleep four and an additional single bed can be placed in the room by request.
Bungalow Sereno:
Two queen beds, this time with stunning mahogany and rattan furniture that lends itself to the sophisticated tropical feel of this room. Stylish rattan chairs will make you want to never leave the breeze on the balcony.
Bungalow Tranquilo:
A delightful blend of dark woods and colorful accessories…this room has a smooth tribal feel with a queen platform bed and a bunk bed that has a single top and full bottom, rendering it ideal for families with kids.
There is an inviting, cozy outdoor rancho and communal area where you can watch direct TV, play DVDS or even better.... videos of yourself catching the waves of the day!
There is a book exchange library or you might find yourself playing backgammon, cards or a relaxing game of chess. Bring your laptop if you would like to keep in touch with family and
friends using our free wireless internet.
The rancho has an inviting pool to take a dip into and wash off the salt from your surf lesson.
