Tim Marsh: Safari Surf Owner/CEO
ISA Certified Surf Instructor
Tim has been surfing for over 30 years. During his grom years in Hawaii, he competed in local Hawaiian Surfing Association and NSSA events. After high school, Tim moved to California to further his education and continue his competitive surfing career. In 1995, he sold his belongings and moved to Costa Rica with his wife, Marsi. He invited his brother to visit, and shortly afterward, they founded Safari Surf School and have been at it ever since. Tim now lives and surfs in San Diego with Marsi and his three children, but visits Nosara often. |

Tyler Marsh: Safari Surf Owner/Head Instructor
ISA Certified Surf Instructor
Tyler has been surfing nearly his entire life, and has taught thousands of people the art of surfing. Tyler has been living in Nosara for over 13 years and is your prime surf instructor, local guide, dining guru and all-around point man. Most people consider him the unofficial "mayor" of Nosara. |

Marsi Marsh: Safari Surf VP of Operations
Marsi is a former high school English teacher who received her bachelor's degree and teaching credential from San Diego State University. In her years as a teacher she specialized in language acquisition and reading development, creating successful programs for the teaching of English to immigrant students. As Safari Surf grew, Marsi left teaching to become an integral part of the business. She has inside knowledge of how the day to day operations run, and is a skilled customer service and sales representative. |

Greg Gibson: Safari Surf Marketing & Design Director
Greg livees in San Diego, CA, and works alongside Tim directing Safari Surf's new business projects, marketing, web-development, social media, and special events. Growing up in San Diego, he's surfed on-and-off most of his life, and has always had a passion for boardsports and a love of travel & adventure. Greg is also an avid musician, and recently released an album, which you can find on iTunes! He's looking forward to seeing Safari Surf grow and developing the exciting new projects that keep us moving forward!

Peter Lewis: CR Assistant Operations Manager
Peter Lewis is an ambassador of "Costa Rican "pura vida," and brings to Safari Surf a lifetime of professional expertise and surf travel expe- rience. His introduction to surfing in Ocean City, New Jersey in 1966 sparked an enduring passion that laid the framework for a lifetime
of riding waves. Graduating from college in San Diego in 1973, Peter became a manager with Chart House restaurants in Southern Califor- nia, Hawaii, and Florida. The restaurant business introduced him to the hospitality industry and the art of customer service. In 1995, he entered the travel business as a consultant and travel agent for Surf Express in Florida, a company that specializes in surfing vacations. The job was a good fit and provided the opportunity to explore exotic coastlines and foreign cultures, and learn the ins and outs of the travel business. Peter moved to Nosara, Costa Rica in 2008 with his wife Emily and their five dogs.
